Caller: Oak Road wine salesman After a long spiel about his "fantastic" red wine from the Barrosa. I said "no thanks". Without a blink, he immediately offered me a 25% reduction including free delivery. I said "if you were one of my employees I'd sack you on the spot!". I hung up.

Caller: Oak Road wine sales Oak Road Wine pest calls me from a different number every day. They don't even make wine or have a winery. They buy surplus generic wine from SA and relabel it. The salesmen talk it up and try to convince customers they are buying bargains. On delivery, tasting and looking at the labels, customers like me realise the wine is simply ordinary stuff. Thanks to Oak Road Estate I no longer answer calls from unknown numbers.
