I received an SMS on Thursday, 25 February 2021 from 0411 935 564 with this message:

Dear (my full name),

The sticker on your parcel ripped. Please provide us with your missing info immediately.

Resolve matter kel.pw/cBwfp.

I clicked on the link then immediately it looked like an chat session. I was told the parcel's address could not be read but they had my name, phone number and email address. A photo of the parcel was quickly flashed to me but I couldn't get a good look at it. It didn't look damaged though. I was asked whether I would like it sent to a personal or business address. I selected business. I was then told I would need to pay a $3 fee. I asked them to send me the photo of the parcel so I could see it better but I got no reply.

It's a good thing I checked here as it was obviously a scam.

Comm bank scam

Got a text saying this:
"COMMBANK: A PAYMENT of $102.55 has been made to a NEW payee. If this was NOT you, please visit: https://netbank.payeefail.com.au"

I don't even have a commonwealth bank account.

Caller: Text Message

SMS saying: I tried to sent it to u before https://bsyqs.website......

Recieved SMS:
"Your order is ready. Please complete the import handling charges to receive your item [link]."

Sure sounded dodgy and I can see from this site that it was.

An sms stating that my parcel is being held at their distribution centre.

I am waiting on a couple of parcels but aus post and couriers doesn’t not send messages like this

Claim to be from JB hi Fi about a “selection of my name”. What I don’t understand is how did they know my name and the suburb I live in. Scary.

Somebody transfer money from my account is not me is 102 dollar

Just received a text from this number. “Here’s our final attempt to reach you. Your ID (....) hit the third lot on our Jan 21 list”. And then a dodgy wee link. Definitely a scam

“Your registration has been approved” with a dodgy link.

At least they’ve upped their name from “Ur” but still won’t be clicking on it.

I received the same message and likewise do not have a CBA account.

SCAM. Text message says "Macquarie: your account is now restricted due to us noticing some unusual activity. Resolve this by visiting macquarie-review.com. Ref:577"
