Caller: Ebay Apparently They advised me that someone was trying to buy an Iphone with my bank card over ebay and they were trying to assist me in refunding the money back into my bank account. I installed an app on my phone and followed the prompts with them. I correctly put the amount in the value box and then a prompt stated saying that $39,999 will be refunded back into my account. They sounded worried as the payment had already gone through and it sounded scripted. They called me on another number immediately after from Sydney and told me to look in my emails as they can't cancel that refund.
