The caller number came up as Quality Flooring (a Moorabin company). The person spoke in Mandarin Chinese (Accent is from mainland China) and ask about the name of the principal/person responsible for the Chinese school. My number is associated with the school as I am associated with parent committee. The caller didn't explain why she needed this info.
Upon questioning, she then asked whether the school is doing renovation and that a fellow kept on calling her about supplying a lot of goods for school renovation purpose.
I told the caller that school is not renovating and that the school team received the day before two scam calls from an engineering/construction company. These scam numbers 0480 090 832, 0480 090 834) turned to have been recently reported as identity theft scam call numbers.
After hearing this, the caller still insisting on knowing the details about the school principal/person responsible. Very similar style to the other scam callers. Therefore, the school team has reasonable suspicion that they might be working together.
