2024 Dec 22 Sunday 5:13 pm EDT. I received seemingly an SMS (to my Telstra phone number apparently), but only appearing on my laptop (the message is not appearing on my phone, which is linked via 'Phone Link' to my laptop) : "From ATO: You have an urgent notice view activity-stat-info.cc/f/". That web link goes to a page which seems to look exactly like a myGov Sign in page, with the "Australian Government" "myGov" "Sign in with myGov" and "Choose how to sign in from these 2 options", "Using your myGov sign in details", "Username or email", and "Password".
Click on the link above, to see for yourself, there seems to be no danger until you type in your private details.
