Caller: Scammer

Very professional taped message ‘acknowledging’ that my broadband was due to be cut in the next hour and that I needed to ‘press one now’ to arrange my new router with my current provider.

Which, I believe they would have offered to overcome the situation.

I hung up immediately and contacted my provider. They confirmed that there was no such situation, and that it was indeed a scam.
