Caller: Fake Scam They text message and say "Hey mum, I got a new phone and number. Please confirm you have saved this one and deleted the old one" and if you reply then start asking for money, wanting you to give your credit card details so that they can "fix my car at the roadside, it cost $9500. How much you got? anything helps so the mechanic sorts it."
