Caller: Telstra Scam

An Asian caller pretending to be Telstra asking about our line. We have not been Telstra for a year now and will never return. Been loyal customers for 40+ years. Don't treat people with such disrespect and if there was a concern your end. Try communicate what the concern was. We owned all our property and my new mobile was playing up. After weeks of communication l finally had it replaced and in the middle of my husband having a stroke. Shame on you!!!

I’m suspecting another pond scum sucking scammer. They got the lovely message that my number didn’t answer unknown callers and to leave a message. They did not. And now that number has joined the 600 other numbers I’ve blocked.

I'm guessing they are scammers, they have rung everyday for the last 10 days at 5.30pm. No message left. I rang their number x1. Message back from telstra "your call could not be connected"

Caller claimed to be from telstra and was offering a 40% discount for being a loyal customer. Repeatedly said that they sent through a code and when I said that I had not recieved any such code proceeded to tell me how to navigate to notifications. Proceeded to ask many questions relating to whether other people at the premise used telstra services and when I said I would not provide that information as she should know this if she was calling from telstra she went back to the nofication code. When I said to her that I know how to operate my phone she said to use the telstra app. When she couldn't get through the verification via the app she again proceeded to tell me to verify at which point I said not to bother. She said that she'd apply the discount, and when I said to her I do not authorise any changes to my account she hung up the phone. The background noise sounded like she was in a call centre with a lot of people speaking. Reporting to scam watch.

Caller: Claimed to be Telstra

Think it was a scam, we don't have any Telstra services except for mobile and they asked about internet etc.
If genuine Telstra would know what services we have.
