The number belongs to an online messaging service: https://www.smsbroadcast.com.au/ if they sent a text to you, it's from someone you know who has your number. The company itself is not trying to scam you.

Keep getting messages about PIMP PAD. Keep trying to unsubscribe but they keep coming. Can't block the number so I will have to change my mobile number. Really angry about that. Phone company says there is no other way to get rid of them...

Someone used this as part of a fake profile for online dating, Jan 2012. SMS only...claimed to be 'out of range' so couldn't talk.
