Text messages, some with a link, claiming to be Abi from Greenpeace. I never open links from unknown and unsolicited numbers, no matter who they claim to be. I didn’t respond and knowing that us humans are the weakest link in any scam, I try to stop my natural curiosity and my too trusting nature by blocking and deleting the message.

Be careful, as attackers are becoming more clever in the methods they use to fool even the most suspicious and careful of us.

3 texts in quick succession. Prporting to be from Abi at greenpeace but they look dodgy. The "video" link is to the clks.to short url service. Very likely a scam.

Tries to sound legitimate but most likely a scam, sends you 3 successive texts about a survey from Abi at Greenpeace then follows up a week later asking if you will take the survey.

got a text message from an Abi saying, 'thanks in advance, chat next week' with love hearts. don't know an Abi. I wish they would f*ck off with their bullsh*t scams. I replied, 'sounds like a scam'

Been getting several text messages ( August and September 2022) to my mobile addressed to my son. This is very irritating and I'm wondering why nothing is being done to prevent it!! e.g." Morning (son's name) it's Abi from Greenpeace here. It's been a little while so I wanted to reconnect....etc with a link to click on" Neither of us donate to Greenpeace. Also there's other messages today saying the survey is finished and a separate one that just says "Thanks again (whale and 2 hearts emojis) Abi (smiley face)

These scammers need to get a life. It's really bloody annoying.

My mum fell for the scam took all her passwords and bank details had to do a lot of running around and take phone back to factory settings do no open

Insisting text messages from some girl from Green Peace called Abi. She asked me many times to click on a link for some sort or survey... I ignored it, then I received a messages asking again to click on a link because I won some photographic screen covers for my phone and I ignored it again... last message was asking for feedback and I have now blocked the number. As much as I could be curious I never click on any unknown link... funny part is that she knew my name !!! how is that possible!! I have never donated to green peace ... however this is def a scam in my view

I got the same messages too. 16December 2021.
The Video link looks suspicious too.
I blocked and will delete.

Same as other reports. Initial sms has link to survey. Next sms says survey can be conducted via sms. Knows my name so not clear how they would obtain that in relation to my mobile.

I did not contact this group

Sent an SMS message:
"Later this week we'll be running a short survey, & I'd love to get some quick feedback from you, as it will help shape our plans for the future"
followed by:
"Thanks in advance [whale emoji] I'll be in touch soon [earth emoji] [green heart]"
