Caller: Claimed to be from Visa card fraud detection A FULL ON SCAM!!!
Someone with an sub-continental accent sounding like he was in a call centre called my mobile number claiming to be from Visa Fraud Detection. He said that someone in the U.S. by the name of Peter (forgot surname given) had made several attempts to withdraw money from my Visa account. He asked me to put him on speaker, open a Google or Safari browser and navigate to some strange website so he could confirm my IP address or something crazy like that. When I challenged him about visiting that website and why they needed to confirm my IP address, and saying that I did not believe him, he hung up.
