This number messaged my mum pretending to be one of her Kids, saying they dropped their mobile in the sink and they have a new sim and to save it. When my mum asked who it was either myself or my sister they said it was me. They responded to my mums messages weirdly and when my mum called the number an automated messaged played "this number has restricted calls etc".

Text read "Mum, I've had to get a new SIM. Text me when you get this."

That old scam "Mum I'm using a prepaid mobile . . . .dropped it in the sink
