Please be aware of a ticket seller allegedly selling event tickets on gumtree.

Please do not send any bank transfers to this person. Received a call from an “Adam Elhage supposedly from Geelong”, seemed like a genuine Aussie bloke offering me event tickets which I advertised on gumtree.


Operating under a NAB bank account number.

Please be careful do not send your hard earned cash to him - he is a fraud

Adam replied to my gumtree ad, seeking basketball tickets for my family. I transferred $80 to his Nab account and was promised an email with tickets attached. As soon as i tranferred the money, Adam or whoever this low life scum is, blocked my calls!

I have contacted the police and my bank with regard to his scamming too. He also gave us an address to collect the remainder of the RHCP tickets because we didn't want to pay the whole amount into his account without seeing them. It was a 4 hour drive to the address and if we had driven there we would have made an 8 hour return trip and come home empty handed. He obviously doesn't live there.

Scammed me for red hot chilli pepper tickets and blocked my number after the transfer. Lost $300
He has multiple accounts in westpac, nab and anz and probably more.
Sent a report to police.

I found this after it was too late. I rang him and he blocked me.

He also operates under westpac account.

he scammed me $300 for RHCP tickets for hunter valley. he is now using ANZ but they told me whilst i was on the phone they couldn't refund me my money
and he had already withdrawn it. they have cancelled his Account with ANZ.

Same story, was called from this number right after i posted a 'wanted' ad for tickets.
I missed the call and no messaged were left, but after looking the number up on here I will not be returning the call.

Damn wish I read these posts earlier. Adam scammed me a gig ticket just now! Spewing. Seemed so genuine. Replied to my WTB ad on gumtree. Fuuker :(

I also had an experience with this number via gumtree. I posted a "wanted" ad for concert tickets and he called saying he was from Bunbury WA and that he had some, to transfer and screenshot the payment etc. He came across very genuine and I was obviously too trusting. He blocked my number and now I have lost $150

He answered my wanted as on Gumtree looking for concert tickets. I transferred $150 to his bank account (his NAB account) and he blocked my calls and didn’t send me the tickets. I have lodged a complaint with scam watch and will call the police also. Hopefully he is caught, it seems he is making a lot of money scamming people around Australia. My bank said they can’t do anything about it.

Trying to sell fake tickets to the races. Please beware.

A guy that goes by the name ali called me after seeing my advertisement of wanting tickets for a concert on gumtree, he seemed like a genuine guy by the way he was speaking, after sending me “proof” of the ticket purchase I transferred him the money and after that he stopped answering my calls, after seeing previous posts now I know this Sydney number has scammed so many other and a stop has to be mad. It’s sad knowing that someone can just take money from others like that and the cops still haven’t put a stop to it.

Claiming to be a lawyer that could help in legal issues and would accept a payment plan. Became quite agitated when was questioned about who he worked for and kept mumbling some made up company name, said would only take my case once a retainer was paid into his account and a receipt txt'd to him. When I asked where we were going to meet he became quite evasive and vague with details.

Has been reported, thank goodness my "spidey-senses" went off before I lost any money.
