Caller: Impact recoveries

They call from a mobile number, I answer and it cuts off..i have checked with Telstra and confirmed that a debt was passed on to them that I was unaware of. So they are legit to a point I guess..

I got a call from this number too today but did not respond but it is saved as an impact debt collection . And if it is from Telstra why is it using a mobile number from Vodafone. This is crazy. I work for telstra myself

Overseas scammer using a spoofed (fake) number. They asked for a specific person then requested full name and DOB. Yeah right, we give that out to all unsolicited callers... They claimed to be "Impact on behalf of Telstra Recoveries".

Caller stated they were from impact services on behalf of Telstra. They started with a spiel about how the phone call would be recorded and any personal information retrieved would be managed according to their privacy policy. I then stated that I would not be providing any personal information during this phone call, they replied they needed to ensure they were speaking to the right person. I reiterated and stated they have provided no reason for the phone call and I hung up.

Caller claiming to be from "Telstra Recoveries". Sounded sus so hung up immediately.
