0406 128 892 phoned but didn't leave a message - indicating a spammer.

Same as other complaints, time wasters and / or spammers.
why don’t the telcos block these type of callers, surely they can do. 😃

He said "Really? Ok" and then hung up.

Nuisance caller, have received call from this person twice now

Caller: Claimed to be from 'Easy Finance'

Called in November 2020, twice. Used my name and said they were from 'Easy Finance' (or something similar) calling about a conversation from back in March about a mortgage application. On both calls I told them I hadn't spoken to them in March, on second told them to stop calling - second caller *seemed* genuinely concerned to know when I had last been contacted. Based on second interaction I sent off an application for a credit report to check it wasn't possible symptom of ID theft.

Called and said 'remember we spoke about your mortgage' - um nope. Couldn't tell me who he 'spoke' to and what we 'spoke' about

Same here, they called I said hello then they hung up.

Just block the number

Knew my name. Asked me if it was myself. When I confirmed identity introduced himself as being from a company (name unintelligible). Asked me if I remember speaking to one of their agents about a mortgage a few months back. When I said I don't have a mortgage they hung up.

Called just now, I let it ring out because I didn’t recognise the number. Copy and pasted it into Google Search to find it here as a nuisance/spam caller. Glad I didn’t answer!

Speaking in a language other than English when I answered, then immediately switched to English when I said Hello, they then told me they were calling from "Financial Group" ... I hung up.

I answered, took me saying hello 3 times before they said hello. Claimed they were from a finance company. I asked what it was about as I was in the middle of something. They immediately hung up. Don't waste your time with this number

Knew my name, when I confirmed I was 'name' they hung up. I am on the Do Not Call Register and will add this number to my previous complaints. More than likely some kind of scammer/phisher. Do not answer phone to this number.
