Caller: Some Guy Caller was very polite and professional. I will make that clear.
Offering government incentives for reducing mortgage - quoted 10-15k a year. Declined as I need no assistance. Also wanted to know about my Super fund etc. and offering a 'free' thingy "normally priced at $5,000".
Being a sceptic, I do not conduct business over the phone from unknown, unsolicited callers. Also, nobody gives away a, '$5,000' service for free. There is always a catch, and it certainly won't be for my benefit.
My advice to anybody is that if you're interested in any product or service, don't allow an incoming call to make your decision for you. Research independently and make a decision yourself. Otherwise, seek your own financial advice on your own terms - without a phone call
