Warning phishing scam pre Christmas. Text message purported to be sibling saying “ Hey Mum stressed out dropped mobile phone in sink by accident and phone stopped working. Can you please text my new number - 0415 541 864”. Message was sent to our elderly grandmother who was savvy enough to view the incoming text number, which did not correspond to any immediate family.
Please note - the different incoming mobile number 0404- 965- 395. This differs to the identified response number.
I have blocked
