Caller: Claimed to be Amazon. Calling to advise that my Amazon Prime account was due and they would automatically deduct $99.99 from my bank account. I do not have an Amazon Prime account and neither does my wife. We both have received this telephone call several times. We contacted Amazon to confirm that this is some kind of scam. Fortunately, both my wife and I are tech savvy and so we have just hung up.
