Calls, when you answer they hang up

sick of the number calling and then hangs up

Why do these people ignore the do not call register

Had a couple of calls over the past few days late in the evening no message left won't be calling back

Answered their call and after 20 seconds they hung up. Straight to message bank when I returned call but it was full.

This number called me twice,when returned missed call,electronic answering machine.Third time when I answered,female laughing voice said,Australian Research Centre for tax purposes asking me, if I own the land.This is scam and this number should be disconnected.

Contacted my number twice,Australian Research from Tax Office asking if I am owning land.Scam,should be locked up.So anoying

Two calls everyday while I am at work.............so annoying and no message left.............

Bogus - no registered organization called Australian Research Institute with an ABN or ACN according to governments business register website.

0404 796 984 David claimed to be from Australian Research Institute. This entity does not exist. Try looking up the ABN or ACN. at abn.business.gov.au

Caller hung up when I answered.
I add such numbers to 'marketing' contact or just block the number.

same here they called my landline (I think although it came up as private) and expecting a call I said my name and they hung up. Then 10 minutes later a call on my mobile with the above mobile number and when I answered they hung up. I don't get why they waste my time and theirs by doing this unless it just verifies your number when you answer so they keep ringing. annoying really as I was waiting on important calls.
