Caller: 0404 733 127 THE ATO.

Pre recorded message; claiming to be from the ATO and I was invading tax fraud and a warrant for my arrest has been issued. To speak with an operator press 1. So I do, as I was bored and knew all to well this was a scam, overseas call centre answers after delay, proceeds to tell me his name, so I ask who’s calling, where are you from? They hung up instantly. Also tried calling the number and it’s not in service.

Beware of this call. Had a voice message as follows
“_⁠_⁠_ sent to the registered address _⁠_ _⁠_⁠_ _⁠_⁠_ _⁠_ _⁠_⁠_⁠_ back on signed and I believe _ _⁠_⁠_⁠_ before _⁠_⁠_ _⁠_⁠_⁠_ _⁠_⁠_ _⁠_⁠_ legal information to the courthouse to release the arrest warrant for you if you need any further information about this press one _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ press one for more information…”

ATO scam - 2nd call I've missed over the last 2 months leaving the same msg.. they have an arrest warrant

It was a voice recording saying it was the ATO with an arrest warrant to press 1 I did a Indian lady answered asked my name then it hung up

They said from the ATO and have an arrest warrant out for me to press 1
