Heavy breathing guy who didn’t like it when quizzed him on who he was and what the call was regarding so he hung up and he must of then blocked my number...beware

Fake accented British person called asking if I knew about the Airbnb ipo next month. and what an ipo is and asking about my investments. Just pretended I didn’t know what any of it was and acted dumb. He was quick to hang up on me. These people have been calling ever since I signed up to westpac online investing for all sorts of bogus ipo’s, I think they’re on selling private information.

Called me and a lady said "Hi I am Alex"... and when I said "huh", she hung up.

Some Airbnb public offering bullsh*t.

Answered and hung up straight away

Heavy breathing left on voicemail, no message, possible scam.

Caller: Some English sounding scammer.

Called selling something to do with Air B&B IPO. Politely told him I wasn't interested and he politely signed off.

No answer when picked up; now bared on my mobile.

Called up about "investment opportunity" I had (supposedly) enquired about in Nov 2018. I hung up after that.

Caller: "Martin" from "CIS"

"Martin" called me from "CIS". Said he got my details from me putting my name down as "interested in investment" about 6 months ago.

Said something about a "Collective Investment Scheme" when probed.

Sighed and hung up when I said I never put my number down for something and don't appreciate cold calls.

Sucks that the Liberals allow this scum vultures to try to scam people.

Keep calling, I never answer. What is the point of being on the Do Not Call Register when each & every day I get calls from numbers I do not know. Every check proves that these calls are all spam, so how do these morons get our numbers?

THE SAME HAPPENED TO ME, I PICKED UP THE PHONE AND NO ANSWERS. I CALLED BACKED AND RANGED AND THEN DISCONNECTED
FOR POLICE CHECK IN A CASE FOR JOINING THIS THIS DISCUSSION

Caller: Money Markets News Survey

Said calling from Money Markets News. Doing a survey. Asked for me by first and last name. Felt scammy.

Caller: I don't know

Garbled British Accent, named my company, then hung up. Scam or Nuisance.

Took a while for him to get on the call. Vaguely mentioned where he got my number from, something about CBA or Comsec perhaps.
Then very well spoken man started a very long spiel about AirBNB being a great amazing company.
A few times I said "I'm sorry, I still don't understand what this call is about"... hoping to find out what his point was. (knowing it was spam/investment related)
He went on and on and on about the upcoming AirBNB IPO (NY Stock Exchange listing).
I'm sure he would have eventually offered me the amazing chance to invest in AirBNB and then stolen all my money. So I hung up.
