Call from a series of numbers who call me 2 to 3 times per week who call and disconnect immediately when my greeting message plays or once, when the phone - in my hand at the time- rang and immediately disconnected as I said hello.

Checking back on this site does not reveal the numbers to be that of scammer.
However,I called one back immediately and the Telestra message was that the number was disconnected.

Something obviously was not correct there.

My greeting message states my mob phone number and to please leave a message if they wish me to call back.

These calls occur between 2 and 3.30 PM even weekends. 3 or 4 have been at 2.36 and 2.37 PM suggesting the calls are computer controlled.

I suspect they are trying to link my name to the mobile phone number.
