claiming to be from Telstra claimed monitoring my computer and got error message coming from my computer and IP has changed from Private to Public” tried to convince me that home network, and IP address, has switched from a “private” to “public” mode, and that at risk of people using my computer also. wanted me to run a command on my computer gave me a customer id he wanted me to check was on my computer. he also wanted to know how I used my computer if i used for emails or buying products. he also said disconnect from internet but still run this command he will be giving me. I had enough by than and hanged up on him

claimed to be from Telstra and I was getting unusual error activities on my computer internet wanted me to turn on my computer and check a customer id number and rum a command to check this number then he transferred me to another person who claimed to be technical support technician and gave me his name. told me the same wanted me to log in and run a command to check number on computer. I asked for a contact detail to confirm this is legit but he was very annoyed and kept saying I don't understand any technical issues and he was trying to help. finally had enough and said I am hanging up he was very annoyed I was not listening to him. he also stated that Ian disconnect my internet and still run this command be careful out there
