Caller: NBN Support SCAMMER

Scam NBN
Call from foreign sounding person, saying they were from NBN and saying they were checking slow internet speeds in my area, and wanting me to check and tell them what my speeds were. When I challenged them that NBN do not call customers directly, they said they normally send emails or letters but in this case they were calling all customers in my area . They got quite annoyed when I said I would not check anything and if they were NBN they would deal via my provider to get this sorted. They demanded I should tell them so when I asked the to tell me who my provider was, they got it wrong. - OBVIOUSLY SCAMMERS.

NBN will not call you to offer technical support, rectify or offer a “rebate” for slow internet speeds, or to advise that your nbn™ connection has been ‘hacked’ or is not secure.
