I recently had some missed calls from "Amazon" and it was the gift card scam. I called them through my work number and kept them busy for a while, until they cottoned on and got ticked off...lol

Text message requesting payment of $4 before parcel is delivered. It looks genuine with no spelling mistakes. I ordered something online the previous day and am expecting delivery in the next day or so. I called the company and informed them of the scam, so that they are aware of it, as delivery fee is always covered on check out.

Received a text message from above number:- " We have attempted to deliver ur package UPSS016448296GB, but there is an unpaid customs charge. Follow the instructions here:

( I was very suspicious so did not fall for the trap.At the same time I was expecting & paid for a parcel coming from overseas which did eventual arrive earlier this week) Exact same message from one listed above from same number on same day with same package number

A message was: ‘Last warning: Balance due. Please confirm by 4 pm to avoid rejection.’ I didn’t tap to preview of course.

Had same message as above: Dear [name] Ur delivery has been stopped at our depot today. #CS(02) 7900 3594DE. Please resolve the issue here: http://6t3.link/XrfnQ
