Suspected scammer. Texted me about a Gumtree ad. Very similar M.O. to another scammer that I encountered a couple of weeks ago. Didn’t want to talk, only text. Didn’t reply to any calls I made to this number.

Clown puncher. Pretends to be “Brent “. Probably went through someone’s bin to get a fake identity. Lower than snake poo. Don’t send this idiot anything and report them to police and every other government regulator you can.

I have fallen victim. lost $350.. claimed that he was a David Leslie Thompson. he sent ID, Drivers license etc but yeah.. i was scammed. thought he was legit. not sure what i can do now. absolute scumbag! my bank wont give me my money back. they tried stopping my OSKO transfer but it was too late. i am done with Gumtree unless it is face to face meet up. this just happened on Sunday evening.

Now calls himself “Dillon”. Seems to troll car part adverts on Gumtree. Avoid this clown like the plague.

BRENT FENLON answered my wanted advert on Gumtree, requesed proof of payment before he would ship the items which ive not received. NEVER deal with this piece of 💩, if you do, kiss your money and what you've purchased goodbye. This guy is a true bottom feeder!!

Same happened to me this week. Have lodged cybercrime report at www.cyber.com.au and also with Gumtree. I won't see my money again but hoping if more people lodge reports this lowlife will feel some heat at some point.

Confirmed scammer, using Qld drivers license for Brent Fenlon, Woodridge, as ID. Will only communicate by text and not provide bank acct details, preferring cashless card transfer.
Responded to Gumtree 'Wanted to Buy' advertisement. Confirmed item sent but never arrives.

Scammer same number and I'd same MO. Everytime he demands money specifies a different bank account. Not sure how he is getting the money - maybe I'd is legit and relying on people not following up on the scam.

Gumtree scammer will tell you he's from next state and pay him for item + postage but you will never get it. Be careful
