Got a message saying my package had been stopped at their depot with a heap of number and a link to go to to resolve. Definitely a scam!

Got a text from them today saying "Dear [First name], Ur delivery has been stopped at our depot today. [random series of letters and numbers]. Please resolve the issue here [insert suspicious link]"

Almost certainly a scam as I haven't ordered anything.

Had sms supposedly from Amazon saying I had purchased laptop and if it wasn't me phone 1 800 number. I phoned them using landline & guy with accent wanted my email address to send supposed security number. Told him I wasn't giving him any personal info then he hung up. Absolute SCAM so beware

Message received saying “(my first name), Sorry that we took a while to get this to you”
...then a link I’d suggest is a lovely scam/link to crash your device/harvest personal information.

Seems technology has created another subspecies of scum who should be wiped from the face of our modern day world. Feel sorry for those who would simply click on the link and end up spending time/money undoing the damage

I was getting lots of these texts leading up to the Qld state election. I clicked on the link which took me an ABC page regarding the ALP. Got many of these from different numbers, had to block them all. Have not got one text since election was held.

got a suspicious text from this unknown number, using my first name "I owe u an apology, firstname, this was meant to get to you yesterday" followed by a url from a sus domain on http not https jddwp.com
