Seemed to be spam call fishing for personal information

Asked about age , spouse name , annual income,
said he was from Australian Advisory Bureau..
sounded suspicious... that's why I googles his number .
I only listened because I saw his phone number.

Definitely a phishing operation. Either phishing for personal details or to record 'yes' responses for identity fraud scams. Called under the guise of conducting a survey. Recommend hanging up saying as little as possible.

This number just called and was asking questions. I have redialed the number and it's saying optus is advising this number has been disconnected. i really hope this isn't dodgy but it seems it

not selling anything, would not let me get a word in, scam hung up and blocked number

Started saying "can you hear me?" repeatedly trying to make me say yes. When I just said" I can hear you" x 3 times he said his name was Chris from the Australian Bureau of statistics he wanted to ask financial questions. Total Scam

How and why do they call when i do not have my number anywhere!!!! It really annoys me as this is a private number!!!!!

The woman from this line described herself as a representative from The Australian Advisory Bureau (Department of Employees' Benefit)......???? ... Hmmm, looks like somebody fishing for personal information like complete name, mobile number, etc...
