These guys are using information collected from Acceleon and TICA to harass you. Contact Acceleon on (03) 9670 9797 Message to my mobile saying to call 13007311663. CCC. The person that they were looking for is NOT me. I called them and said so. I told them, 'One more phone call from your company, I will be going to the authorities about it. The fellow said, 'I will remove your number from our system. The next day, CCC calls my home phone (asking for the same person - as on my mobile phone - this time, a woman calls asking for Aaron ********. I said that person did not live at my house, and how on earth are they calling for this person on two phone numbers that are not in this persons name???????? A quote number was sent to my mobile phone which I gave them, she removed my home phone number from their system, too. I have called both Optus and Telstra to issue a complaint, they have handled it (very professionally) and are investigating the matter. Both the man and woman from Commercial Credit Control told me that the phone numbers are the ones that were given to them, which I cannot begin to understand, as they DO NOT belong to the person that they were seeking. CCC check to see that you have the RIGHT person before harassing people with your queries that have NOTHING to do with them!!!!!! WTF, CCC calling from a mobile? How dodgy is that. Why are they not calling from a landline????? Harrassing Text from "an authorised collection agent" for Optus advising a name I have never heard of with a certain overdue amount threatening to inform "relevant CREDIT REPORTING BODIES" and to forward enquiries directly to "Commercial Credit Control Pty Ltd" with a hyperlink for payment and quoting a certain 14-digit account number or to call 1300 933 409 quoting certain 7-digit file #. Even though I am with Optus, I am definitely not the person they are referring to.
Looking at the number of complaints dating back to 2015 of the exact same complaint, I'd say it's a scam. Welcome to my ever expanding block list.
This number is also sending texts saying this optus bill for a person is unpaid.
My phone is on telstra so just let them keep sending the text. This is a scam.
