Caller: supposedly EBay

I received a call from this number from "Richard"claiming to be from EBay stating that they had picked up a suspicious transaction on my EBay account for $299 for a gift card. He seemed to be very convincing but wanted me to log in to my computer (which i couldn't do anyway as I was elsewhere). He claimed the scammers are so clever that they managed to block the email confirmation so I would not see it, which i don't see, nor is there a record of any unknown transactions on my account. He claims to have put the transaction on hold for 24 hours and will call me tomorrow morning (Saturday?) to resolve it, presumably try to get me to claim a refund and no doubt he will want my details etc. I look forward to his call so i can tell him where to shove it!
