My daily "NBN is now available in your area - press 1 to be connected to the technician" scam. This time it was from a supposed mobile and if the "technician" would be handling orders direct!!! Don't be fooled - my understanding is that NBN never contact the customer direct. They are effectively a wholesale supplier and all contact is made via your telecom provider.
A disturbing feature of these scammers now is that they can somehow insert a false phone number into their call and make it look legitimate. Sadly sometimes these numbers belong to innocent legitimate customers.
