From hipages, SMS alerting me of jobs matching the sort of work I do, which I stupidly went along with the day before from being rung by this number: 0410 312 050. He obtained all my details from my Gumtree ad. Might work for some people, but to me it's honestly a nuisance.

I got this message sent to my mobile number saying "Hi Jose, We're still trying to find tradies for the pavers job (2804054) you posted on hipages.com.au. If you would like us to keep looking please reply 'yes', or 'no' if you would like to close the job. 08/05/17"

Problem is, my name is not Jose, and I did not post anything on the hipages.com.au website. This is not the first time that this has happened to me. Someone called Jose, keeps using my mobile number at different sites to try and get stuff. Don't even know if Jose is his real name...... Have rung hipages before, in Sydney, to say tell them, but once again, they have allowed Jose to use my mobile number, not his, on their website, to try and hire tradies!! Most annoying!!

Sounds pretty bloody dodgy to me. Download an app for updates on someing I know nothing about. Pffft!
