I block them too - most of the time I will block without even answering the 9999 numbers. They're getting more cunning now though - using mobile numbers. If they get through I just wish them a good evening & hang up - don't let them get started. Not worth the aggravation!

You can try and ask them to stop ringing, but we all know that will never happen. Just block this number

Was pushing too much even though I said I don’t need any energy bill discount. Went furious on me and hung up. Australian authority must take action as I have no idea where the get the number from and why they harass people.

let them tell me there deal it was less discount then what I'm on ,so I said don't call again,they call twice a day every day since,sometimes they ring & hang up after 5 seconds as payback for turning their crap deals down really boring retarded behaviour!!

I always hang up.

Energy telemarketer

I seem to be on a call list where I get calls from an (03) number multiple times every few days. I block the number and then get called from a new (03) number. It is so tedious! It feel like I'm being stalked. I don't even live in Victoria anymore, so I just never answer (03) calls now. I wish I could make it stop :(

I called back number (03) 9999 8638 reached IVR for a company called Select Your Deal.

Looks like Energy Telemarketers. Voice mail offering deal on Electricity and Gas. This was an unsolicited call and gone to my block list.
