Received a call from this number which I was unable to answer, however, no knowing anyone in Melbourne who would be calling me, I decided to look for the number on the internet.

Call came 75 mins ago, and they haven't tried again.

A friend had received several calls from Melbourne numbers over the last couple of days - so I thought this might be the same group. She said they were trying to flog phone plans or something like that. More info if they call again.

They just called back. Angela from Queenbury Investment, a Melbourne based company. Thoroughbreds were mentioned pretty much straight up - explaining how good the returns, etc were.Called ended fairly quickly when I stated I was unemployed, but there you go, they're persistent.

The only reason that I can think that they called ME was that I recently made an online enquiry about term deposits with citibank. Do you think that citibank are selling this info?

Yeah, I got a call from this number this morning on my mobile, but didnt answer it. Anyway, I only answer calls from numbers I know, or if Im expecting a call from some-one, even with that, I'll usually let it ring out to my vodafone voicemail and check who it is. Oh, and they didnt leave a message. Mustn't be important enough. Dame those telemarketers with those auto dial software programs. Those apps should be banned!
