Received a message from Commonwealth Department of Public Prosecutions stating they were acting on behalf of Australian Taxation Office. Stated house was under surveillance and a warrant would be issued for fraudulent or no tax filing. A second call came from a person with Asian Accent, a lot of noise in the background, appeared to be a call center. Appears to be another scam.

Be VERY CAREFUL this number was left on answering machine claiming to be a HOTLINE for Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions!!

I received three of these messages on my answering machine while I was away. Very scary, even when you know you haven't done anything wrong.

I received the same thing on 4/6/15. They left a message on the phone and left the same number to call back on.

This happened to me too. Something needs to be done about it. Is there anything that can be done as this person is very dangerous.

I received same message 9.6.15, rang Commonwealth Dept of Public Prosecutions. This is a scam, please don't give them any personal information and report to CDPP or AFP.

i received same message on the 4th june 2015 on my answering machine: threats of prosecution and arrest for fraudulent tax...so be very careful..
