Cancelled my Energy Australia account after constant price hikes in my area, now I keep getting calls from them on this number. Waste of time answering it.

Tried to call me, number looked phony. I don't even pay for electricity retards, piss off

They also asked me what contract I was currently on. When I asked them why they didn't already know she said they were in the marketing department, not accounts, but she said she could tell me my account number. Very unprofessional energy Australia, or a scam.

Answered the call. It is from EnergyAustralia for discounted two years contract. Will see when receive notice in writing.

Got the same call today, bloody telemarketers...

I keep getting continuous calls from this number Ive called it and get the same answering service, Ive called energy Australia twice and complained about the about scam/spam/telemarketer and demanded they take action against this problem. If they fail to take notice of this they are breaking the law. Spamming Telemarketing in Australia is harassment and illegal in Australia as far as i know.

I have had a call from this number every single day (except Sunday's)....they don't leave a message.  When I called back the recorded message said "Energy Australia has tried to contact you. This matter is not urgent. We will try to contact you again"  

....I just ignore my daily call now, if they can't leave a message, and it is not important - don't waste my time!

Got 2 calls from this mob asking me about my electricity account. They said they're Energy Australia but I found it odd that they didn't have much information about me - asked questions like 'how long have you been with EA?" Shouldn't they know this stuff

Any idea who could call from this phone number.

I had a missed call today from that number, I returned the call - it's Energy Australia. When I called back I got a recorded message:

"Energy Australia has tried to contact you. This matter is not urgent. We will try to contact you again. If you would like to leave a message please do so after the beep." Beep. I hung up. Weird.
