Caller: the ATO, allegedly

They called to inform me, threatening voice, that I had outstanding tax debts.

I had the same call...Computerised voice left on essages saying there’s a law suit against me..message went on saying to call the number back...sounded like a scam to me

i had the same message a moment ago. I tried to call back because I'm curious, but I'm sure it's a scam too.

Did not answer, very dodgy recorded computer voice message with appalling grammar stating " Now if we don't hear back from you, we have to issue arrest warrant under your name and get you arrested".

Also referred to department code 3 before the call back number, correct terminology in Australia is area code. (you idiots) as in area code 03.

I won't be calling back, sounds so dodgy....

Caller: said they were taxation office when rang number back

they said i was getting a lawsuit, it was a recorded message talking when answered hung up and rang back with number given to me

Same as Anonymous - they called and I didn't answer. Left a message about calling them back or they would issue a warrant for my arrest. Voice like a robot. Super fishy.... (not calling back)

Didn’t answer. Message left, male automated voice saying to call back immediately and if I don’t they will have to issue an arrest warrant. Scam of some sort

Same sh*t happens to me today. I called them from a landline and a Chinese asked my full name and post code and hung up...

A recorded message claiming to be from ATO and involving a lawsuit against me and asking me to call back - as if!! Now call blocked!

Message left on my voicemail, they're going to have me arrested if I don't ring them back. Bring it on....

Didn't pick up the call as number looked suspect, a computerised message was left saying they have a lawsuit against me, deleted the message , definite spam

Sounds like a scam claiming to have an arrest warrant against the person called and to call back.

A robot left a message saying if I dont call some number back I will be arrested - please a robot!!! what a load of bullsh*t
