Power company trying to get you to change

Simply Energy checker. About the 30th call I have got in a week

Place called 'Energy Checker'. Judging by the fact that they hang up before our phone system rings, it must be an autodialling service (8 seconds), which makes them a spammer in my book.

have asked for my number to be removed but they continue to call.

Kept going on about how if I pay electricity on time I'll pay 40%. I hung up. Wish these marketers would go get bent.

I also unsubscribed by calling back the number and pressing 5 as directed. The system confirmed I was now on the do not call list. I've just received another call from the same number an hour later.

I declined this call on my mobile. I then googled the missed call number and checked it on this site. I returned the call the and a recorded voiceover told me what the call was regarding (Power retailer) and that I could opt out by pressing 5. I did this, the system confirmed and number and announced I would be added to their Do not Call list. Let's see how that goes.

Didn't answer, these marketing people seem to have my email address as well and constantly spam me and ask why I don't answer my phone..
