I received a call from this number too. Having read through the comments on this website and seeing that callers claimed to be calling on behalf of so many different charities: Care Australia, Greenpeace, Wilderness Society etc tells me the number belongs to for a profit marketing company. Great business model living off people's donations, much like Apple Marketing.

Caller: (03) 9998 9645 Possibly for CARE Australia

Caller claimed to be from CARE Australia to whom I donate regularly and had recently given extra. Caller persisted despite being advised that I was unable to give more. I eventually just hung up. I have written strong protest note to CARE. I hope it's just that CARE have become grossly over-enthusiastic and/or disorganised (if so my regular donations will cease if it's not fixed) and not that their database has been hacked. I have also blocked this number but they'll just use a variant so I won't respond to any 9998... calls in future.

Caller: UNHCR

I was conned into signing up for a regular donation by UNHCR ages ago and when my account was hacked I cancelled the card they were direct debiting. However this place never gives up and keeps calling. Have blocked them now

Said they were from Sacred Heart Mission and thanks for my recent donation (we donated to them a year ago). Said they weren't getting paid a cent from my donation. That might be technically true but SHM would be paying money into this aggregator like all the other charities, so it's a little disingenuous. She was quite nice but fairly persistent.

I received a call from this number strangely after i got a call from 0414 738 958 asking if i had enquired about lost superannuation
i told them to delete my number of the list and ten minutes later a message from Mondial charity
have reported both numbers but it wont make a difference

Calling on 'behalf of the Lost Dogs Home'.

I have donated to the dogs home in the past so they seem to be calling databases obtained from charities.

Autodialer used by a call centre handling charity solicitations. You can't call it back - it just immediately disconnects the call. If they don't want to take your call, you shouldn't bother taking theirs. Block the number.

I too called back this number and it rang and then it got disconnected.
I do donated to Greenpeace so if it's them calling I'm not impressed.

Could anyone please help me report this number as it has continously harassed me with back to back calls, no one picks up, no voicemail. I now have to put my phone on silent.

Very annoying, no replies to message. Rude and arrogant senders. Phishing for what.??? Will try and get this behaviour blocked. If it is GreenPeace, they have lost me FOREVER!
