Caller: Recorded message

This call showed as coming from Melbourne, Victoria. When I answered there was a silence of several seconds, followed by a recorded female voice (with an Australian accent for a change) telling me that my ebay account had been debited $899 and that I should press button 1 if I considered the transaction to be fraudulent. Needless to say I just hung up. Same tired old scam.

My mobile flagged / alerted this number as possible fraud, I didn’t answer

Missed a call from (03) 9998 0058. then got a call from this number. indian accent scam call.

called back, and it automatically disconnects.. Scammers..

Gentleman with foreign accent claimed to be calling from Telstra and advised that my internet was being accessed by multiple overseas people, most likely hackers.
Asked him to email me the details and what I need to do (without providing my email address). He said they cant do that, but he could assist me to resolve the issue. I advised that I was NOT giving him access to my computer as HE was an overseas hacker. He argued with me and ended the call.

Appears to be a scammer - block it
