I received a call on our landline, from a man, who claimed that he was from Optus. He had an accent, which sounded Indian. He stated that his name wasMax William He stated that he called about the technical issue that I was having with Optus. Actually, I had been trying to solve a problem with our Fetch set-top box & had spent several hours liaising with Optus's online tech dept, so it sounded legit. He stated that someone is using our network. He asked me to go to "zoho com", which I looked up, but did not open it & he asked me about my IP address. I did not tell . He became irritated when I didn't give him any information.

Caller: Scammer? Purported to be from Telstra. I asked for a Telstra ID from them which they gave (some random number I assume) then I asked for a number I could call them back on and they gave 1800 946 which I have not tested.183
