It keeps ringing us and when we pick up no-one's there. It's a damned imposition on people's privacy. Stop it!

Charities are excluded from the do not call register. They where the 3rd charity to ring me today. And about the 5th one this week. I tried to keep a track of the number of charities that have called me. I lost tack after 200 calls this year.

The spiel I received was that this is for The Heart Research Institute (http://www.hri.org.au/) hero of the heart program in which they ask you to adopt a hero lion (32cm soft toy) and 90% of proceeds go to further research a blood test which will be available soon and will detect heart problems before any damage is done.

Am on the DO NOT CALL REGISTER for my voip number and these telemarketers still call ringing raising money for charity! Not HAPPY at all!!
