Call from so called 'Telstra', caller had indian accent, saying that someone had used my phone number to do telephone banking. (Hmmmm). He gave a name, and asked if I had authorised this person to use my phone to do telephone banking. I said no. He then asked when was the last time I actually went into my bank. I said that Telstra shouldn't be asking me banking questions. He said there were many scammers out there (Oh really) trying to get my information, and asked who knew about my details. I asked 'what details'. He said, your telephone details. I said, well, many people know my phone number. I said "can I have your phone number to check that you really are from Telstra?", and he said "sure, let me get that for you. It's the finger" (he literally said that). Then the phone went blank. I couldn't help but laugh.
