they dont leave a message just keep ringing and i keep blocking

For the last week have been receiving calls from this number at around the same time every evening. All numbers start with (03) 9970 but have varying end numbers from 9643, 9644, 9645, 9646. Then that night or next day I get a scam text that I have outstanding tolls. Total scam!

Claimed to be from Telstra calling about my internet. I don't have Telstra internet.

My phone has blocked a monthly call from these folks.... I've never spoken with them but gonna unblock them & see what the hype is all about!! Will report back (✿◠‿◠)

Why are the government allowed these scammers the numbers. I have been constantly blocking them not just one numbers but a lot from Melbourne!!

Caller: Kindness Project

Claimed to be doing a survey for the Kindness Project. Have had missed calls from them before.
Sounds like a Phillipine based call centre. Claimed to be following privacy act. Asked how they had my details and they said it was from various databases.
I could find no genuine Australian organisation that matched what they claimed to be. I hung up on them. If they are genuine they need to change their approach as it comes across as a scam trying to get more information from you.

Caller: “Kindness project” -SCAMMERS!!!

Same people over and over. Charity is real however these are scammers as the charity itself does not do cold calling and there is a warning out for these people pretending to be the charity group. Fed up with them. 2months now daily with variant last number. 3x per day. I don’t answer just keep blocking all variants. Nothing stops them. Never answer they can use your voice.

When I answered the phone, 'the caller' didn't speak, just silence.

MAY BE A SCAM. I RANG BACK, USING 1831 AT FRONT,(which i hope shows me as private, their end!). Their voicemail states they are from "Kindness Project" , don't have an available operator presently, may ring back another time. There IS a Project Kindness, which SEEMS to be legit. Didnt leave a voicemail message.

Phone blocked it but computer announced it when I called it back. Spam call. New number, same annoying callers.

Multiple unknown calls, no message left.
