Caller: 'Peter' from Telstra

Received the call on Friday 25 July. Initially told me he was from Telstra. Told me my IP address had been made public & that was a concern. Could have happened if I had opened a link or looked at a website. I asked if I could call him back on this number. He said, 'no, it changes all the time.' He said he could walk me through the process of making my IP address secure again. I told him I couldn't talk any more so he offered to call me back on Monday. Sure enough, I actually had a call from the same number on Monday but was unable to answer it (I was driving). 'Peter' had my name & phone number...which would not be hard to get. He gave me the wrong location for Telstra Headquarters in Melb. I don't use Telstra for Internet access. Lol!

Called 11:19am 3 July. No message left. No idea who this is. So now blocked. I block all numbers who don't leave a message. If someone wants to get in touch they will leave a voice message, if not they get blocked. No time for people who cannot leave a message - they are usually scam calls.

Saying something is wrong with my IP address - had incorrect name. Told them I don't have an IP address, stated everyone has one with the internet. Said I didn't have internet and they hung up
