Caller: An Indian man using the name Matthew pretending he's a Telstra employee Indian man (Matthew) calling from Telstra saying my internet is in the public domain and I'm at risk of being overcharged through data theft. He said my PC needed an urgent software upgrade. I asked him where he was calling from? He said Melbourne. I asked where in Melbourne? After some grilling he eventually said Lonsdale Street. - Alarm bells in my head started ringing. When I suggested that he was trying to scam me, he hung up immediately.

Caller: Telstra or nbn would not employ an arrogant man with so little command of the English language Foreign man (knew my name) asking about my nbn service problem. I have no problem and I told him so. He wanted to challenge me about it so I hanged up.
