I answered the call and no reply from other end. I said hello again and then the call was disconnected.
I dialled the number back and nothing happens.
No ring, no message to say number is disconnected.

Write down scam caller numbers and give them to the next scam caller as your preferred contact number. Indian call centre 'with a massive discount replacement aircon system' to sell but wanting a lot of personal and financial details upfront. "Do you love your Mum? Of course you do. What was her maiden name again? You like puppies, right? What was the name of your first pet again?'

Rebate on hot energy system

Spam call about upgrading hot water system with government rebate. Said no and they hung up with saying anything else. Rude and obviously a scam.

Indian call centre trying to flog heat pump hot water systems under the government grant scheme... I thought these calls were supposed to stop with the new legislation...?

Caller: Government discount electric hot water system

Caller didn’t leave a message. I called back out of interest and the person knew my name! He said it was about the government’s offer to give discounts to homeowners who upgrade their gas hot water system to electric. Not sure it it was legitimate or not but it doesn’t apply to me as I rent.

No message was left of a Saturday, so suspect spam.
