Caller: said they were Telstra Said my IP address was invalid and being accessed from overseas. line kept dropping out and also said this was due to incorrect log in details. I said was busy on tractor they will call back Monday to finish set up. very strange conversation

Caller: Scammers They said they are calling from Telstra, terrible line. Asked for me by name, and said there was a problem with my internet services. Proceeded to tell a very amusing story about how my IP address was my computer licence and it was causing my phone to have a very bad signal with telstra. I tried to play along for a bit - I work in tech so it was quite amusing to hear the completely implausable story. Either they hung up when i said I didn't know what an IP address was, or the call dropped out because the line was so bad.
