It’s a scam caller. Don’t answer, block the number, and delete any voice mail they leave behind.

This is an automated scam call coming from this number. The fake location data they use to cover themselves says the call they make is from Melbourne, Victoria. If you don’t answer, they leave a voice message in both English and Chinese (Mandarin). Block the number and delete the voice message. It’s clear these scammers are using a computerised auto-dialling system with our phone numbers in their database.

Recorded message “We have received a transaction request of $1800 against your debit card attempted a few moments ago. If you do not authorise this transaction, please press one. To approve this transaction press two.” Suspect it’s fraudulent as I have received a genuine call from bank about a transaction in a previous life and it was very different. If anyone does happen to find out if it’s legit I’ll follow up.
