Caller: "My Kindness Project"

Pretty sure this is a identity theft scam call.

The called stated he represented an organisation who carries out surveys on behalf of charities. He had a survey for me that was only 3 questions with yes or no answers.

Those questions were to confirm my name, postcode and full address. At this point I gave him a mouthful of abuse as I was pretty pissed off that this guy had just reeled off all my personal info without giving me a heads up. I then hung up.

Get probably 4 calls every day of week of 20 something different numbers, being mainly last 2 digit change. Rang them up, Indian robot, says if you want to unsubscribe, didn’t subscribe in 1st place.. leave full name & phone number. So I did… with a very colourful alphabet included. My assumption through analysis is … TEMU. Reckon they sold our info the moment an account is opened. That’s exactly how it happened to me

Gentle sounding woman thanking me for my previous generosity and decrying the attitudes of Government for failing to fund deserving charities assisting the needy in our community. Sympathetically, I was ready to donate until she said they can only can only accept FPOS. I declined on the grounds that I never disclose my Debit/Credit card details to a phone caller. This five minute call was a total waste of my time and I have now blocked this number.

Nuisance hangs up on me when I said Hello. Twice.

Pick-up the call and hang-up. Suspect spam.
